Pune, India: As a part of ongoing corporate social responsibility endeavors, We organized an Elderly Care Initiative on 2nd December 2016 at Sangam Sarvajanik Seva Samiti’s Behere Jyeshtha Niwas in Pune, India.
It was a thoughtful day for the SA Technologies volunteers as they visited the old age home establishment in the city to spend some quality time with the senior citizens.
SA Technologies volunteers personally visited all residents of the old age home and warmly invited them to attend the cultural fest that the company had organized for them in the establishment. The volunteers entertained the elderly with their dance & song performances.
The volunteers interacted with the elderly & encouraged them to share their experiences and the wisdom that they have gained from their course of life. The residents opened up to the volunteers, chatting, signing and adding to the memorable moments every person had at this event.
Led by its mission of ‘Empowerment for all’, We organized this event to induce a change of environment for the elderly. SAT’s HR Manager, Mr. Kuldeep Chobey spoke after the event, “It was such a delight to meet the senior citizens who have given so much to the society. Their meeting with us was all smiles and full of joy. Seeing them happy & entertained gave us immense pleasure. The experience was extremely refreshing and I am glad that SA Technologies volunteers are associated with such initiatives and are helping the cause of elderly care in the country. We would love to return and spend time with all the amazing people we have met today”.
Manager of the old age home establishment, Mrs Madhuri Umarani stated, “Our establishment is thankful to SA Technologies for organizing such a wonderful event. All the residents had a great time connecting with the SA Technologies volunteers and enjoyed the cultural performances to the hilt.”
