Pune, India: – As a part of ongoing corporate social responsibility endeavors, We participated in a Tree Plantation Drive on 6th July 2016 called ‘Green Initiative at Pune’.
This initiative was part of efforts aimed at enriching the forest green cover & biodiversity in Pune. As a proactive contributor to #GoGreen mission of the city, associates and team members of SAT planted a variety of tree saplings at Poona Medical Mission Sisters.
SAT Volunteers ensured logistics support for transporting the saplings from nurseries to the plantation site. Nature enthusiasts within the company, meticulously planted the saplings under the guidance of an expert environmentalist. This City drive is a conscientious response to the substantial climate change and sustainability challenges, like depleting underground water and biodiversity loss our City, State and the world is facing today.
To ensure the success of this drive, SAT’s designated associates will ensure that saplings are nurtured until they are mature, by frequently monitoring their growth & health.
